Well, I want to ask you something. Have you ever thought about what is to be seen right at the moment, you look in a mirror?
Do you see your face, your arms, your legs, your belly, your feet? Or, do you see a whole complete human being? Or do you simply watch your clothes? Are you looking for good things, or do you recognize only stigmas and flaws? Are you really looking inside you, or are you looking at your apperance, the thing, the world sees from you?
Is not it such a stupid thing sometimes to watch yourself in a mirror. What do you expect? You are in a good mood, you view yourself, you are thinking: " God damn, I am so fucking great and I feel so bloody good". Other times, you are kind of down, what is it then about he same body, heart, soul, your fucking unchangeable part of your inner self? Is it worse now then some minutes, hours, days, weeks ago? Why are we looking in a mirror at all? Is it simply vanity or the expectations we will be confronted in the world outside?
The same thing with people around you. What do they see from yourself? The things they are expecting, or maybe everytime some other changing details in your character, your appearance?
Then what about smoke? Watch some open fire, look at the dancing red-yellow-blueish flames. Do you not see the rough structure behind the flames and the tender smoke right above the flames? Is a body behind such a smoke, behind a flickering colourful heat, a mirror to see yourself? Or is it simply a shield you are monitoring people through? Sit down in a Café during a very hot day, drink some coke with ice, look at the flickering heat right above the hot cobbles. Do the passing people not look funny through this flickering screen?
Now think about your daily life: Do we not live all the time looking through a mirror, or some kind of smoke? Sometimes we do not realize the vis-à-vis mood, the vis-à-vis' soul real feeling, the vis-à-vis' present state, even among persons we know for a very long time.
Thus Smoke and mirrors are the magicians' most effective tools to constitute a perfect imagination, or a perfect distraction of people's eyes and minds.
Well, you know what? Human beings can never completely open their angle of view. But, if we try to spread it a little bit, then I think we would have a much better time during our short time of life on this earth and a much more better feeling towards the outside world and all our fellow men.
